God Can Fix It

Ya know, I overheard something that, although it may sound crass, would speak volumes about God to someone livin' in the trenches with no energy for beating around the bush, this statement you are about to read was expressed by someone, who like many of us, is simply knee deep in the world's crapola and recognizes God working in the midst of it. Ready? Here it is:

"God just took His big can of 'Unf--k' and sprayed it all over!"

God is good. He is able to unf--k stuff.

All Fail. So What Are You Gonna Do About Yours?

We all fail.

So what are you going to do about yours?

When we fail with God, He says it's not over.

Unless you choose.

Unless you keep heading in the wrong direction without turning around and going His direction on a matter.  Changing your mind on your direction and aligning yourself with God's direction is called repentance.  God is always ready and willing to accept our repentance.  The road to repentance is challenging, because our natural tendency is to fight it, for one reason or another (huge topic).  Once we've humbled ourselves (or our circumstances have humbled us) and opened ourselves to revelation, the repentance itself is not hard.  We simply confess our error and choose to come out of agreement with our previous way, asking God's forgiveness and help.  The power to walk in the new way comes from God, through His grace to us, He is for us!  One of the beautiful fruits of repentance is peace, one of many of walking in alignment with God.

"We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive."
